Belcan Corporation Raises Over $100K to Help Local Organizations
Belcan Corporation, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, proudly raised over $100,000 in its 2011 United Way Campaign, exceeding its 2010 fundraising total by $8,000. The funds will benefit United Way of Greater Cincinnati in its mission to support a variety of local organizations that help create stronger communities. Together with other local businesses, Belcan helped UWGC raise almost $61 million this fundraising cycle.
Over 130 Cincinnati-based Belcan employees participated in the fundraising effort, which included a golf outing, a recycling event, a Penny War between Belcan’s three corporate office buildings in Cincinnati and much more. Belcan partnered with PNC Bank, Keating Muething & Klekamp, Warman & Lowe, ADP, and OC Tanner to provide raffle prizes.
“We are proud and honored to support United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and our employees have shown once again that when called to action, they deliver results,” said Candace McCaw, owner and chairman of Belcan Corporation. “Even in tough economic times, Belcan employees know that helping their community is a top priority. We remain as committed to giving back to our communities as we are to providing our customers with quality solutions.”
